To The Woman In the Mirror
To the Woman in the Mirror,
When you look at yourself in the mirror you immediately focus on all the things that you don’t like about yourself. You see the wrinkles, the extra fluff around your belly and the not so perky boobs. You think to yourself if only I was skinnier, smarter and had smoother skin then my life would be better.
You tear yourself down for all the things that you think you are not but have you ever thought of all the things that you are?
You are BEAUTIFUL, STRONG AND CAPABLE. You are STRONGER than you think you are. Your body carried a child and your arms have loved him well.
Your body has been through the ringer and it has stayed strong and has carried you through. You are still here alive and well. God has done some incredible things through you and He will continue to do that.
You are His masterpiece — fearfully and wonderfully made. You are a vessel of His light to this dark and lonely world. There is a light that shines so bright but you have to see that light within you first before you can shine it for others.
You are capable of more than you think. You can do hard things. You remember the strength you displayed going through those hard and trying times? Use that same strength to accomplish all that you want for your life.
Comparison is the thief of joy. Do not look to the right or the left. Focus on God, put your blinders on and stay in your lane. God’s power works best in your weakness!
It doesn’t matter what other people think about you — it only matters what God thinks of you!
God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future. Keep learning to trust God in everything. Praise Him always. You don’t have to do this alone. Keep praying and hold tightly to God.
When all other things of this world pass away, you will only have God. He is your rock, shelter, comforter, provider, healer, your creator, the beginning and the end, strength, love and peace.
Live out your calling today because you are not promised tomorrow.
Because sis, life is way too short to live your life small and defeated. You are not a mistake. You are an overcomer! With God, all things are possible!! You are here for such a time as this! You are a warrior! It is time to look up, stand up, dust yourself off and rise! The world needs what only you can bring to it!
